Founder and Partner
Doug Raymond, Jack Beam’s partner, brings a special aptitude to medical
negligence cases. With a background in microbiology and coming from a
lineage of scientists, (a mother who is a licensed pharmacist and a father
who designed the moon rover) he brings a profound understanding and unique
abilities to each case.
Doug Raymond received a degree in microbiology from the University of Maryland
and later attended American University and University of Denver to receive
his law degree. In his desire to combine science with law, Doug originally
pursued environmental law. After he was invited to assist in a case involving
medical malpractice concerning twins, he discovered not only a needed
role in representing these unique and specific cases, but also a passion
for cases of this type. He has been representing clients of a similar
nature ever since. Doug Raymond was one of the first attorneys in the
US to advertise that he would represent children born with Cerebral Palsy.
He is licensed in Michigan, Colorado, and Missouri.
Doug and Jack have worked together representing children all over the United
States including but not limited to:
- District of Columbia
- North Carolina
- West Virginia
They have also represented children in tort (injury) cases against the
United States including a U.S. dependent born in Germany.
