What if I Don't Remember all the Details of the Delivery?

You shouldn’t be worried or concerned if you can’t remember what happened during your child’s delivery. The best evidence is found in the medical record. And particularly with a labor and delivery situation, there is an electronic fetal monitor, and that is a chronical – a history – of what was going on with that baby’s heart during the labor. So that’s nothing to deter someone from calling me or a lawyer like myself who is very knowledge about this. Because the case will really rise or fall with those medical records. Now sometimes those medical records disappear from the hospital. I don’t know if that’s because they get legs and walk out of the hospital - but we’ve dealt with those with those situations too and believe me, the courts and juries will look very dimly at a hospital that’s destroyed or altered medical records.
